International Stores

Can you tell me where you buy your ethnic food? I would like to have a list of international stores around the world. These are stores that sell ethnic food. Please email me at miriam@tasteoftanzania.com or add as a comment then I will add the info on the International store page.
Thanks.

Re: International stores with ethnic foods.

    1-
First you have the WHOLE FOOD organic or healthy produce chain in the UK. It has shops all over the country, several in London known as FRESH AND WILD.
Usually quite expensive but foods untreated with chemicals, pesticides and saturated oils and sugars. Also bought from local farmers across the globe some through fair trade fare, i.e respected morally.

2-Then you may find ethnic foods (also known as World Food, like World Music) in all the big super stores : Sainsbury’s, TESCO, MORRISONS and ASDA.
Because they are so huge and well known they can easily be located in any area through Google.

3-Last (but not least) the Asian supermarkets : Londis is one of the major brands. They tend to sell more spicy, Oriental, African stuff in small corner shops all over huge towns in the UK. Some of the major selling areas in London (made famous by the fact that even the Royals shop there sometimes)…too many to name here but two well known … for example are in Upton Park, East London (Green Street) and Southall, in West London.
